Chosen by the world-devourer Galactus to be his latest herald, Tyros the Terrible was endowed with complete control over all forms of rock as well as the power of interstellar flight. Soon, though, Tyros, now Terrax, tired of serving his master and rebelled, only to be stripped of his cosmic powers. Since then, Terrax has regained his earth-shattering energies and has used them to wreak havoc on the galaxy, hoping someday to conquer the universe and gain vengeance upon his former master!
